World Conker Championships
Teams from around the world descend on Ashton, Northamptonshire every October to compete in the World Conker Championships. Up to 300 contestants come to challenge each other.
What is a conker? It is a nut of the horse chestnut tree, which is threaded onto a piece of string. The aim of the game is to smash your opponent's conker!
