World Gurning Contest

Gurning is apparently pulling a face. In this location in the UK, the crab apples are pretty sour, so as part of the 'Crab Fayre' they hold a face pulling competition to see who can make the ugliest face. This must be easier for some, though they make it easier by requiring you to also wear a horse collar at the same time. It is held in mid-september each year.
